"What I love to do most" -- Jakobi Lundy, new staff member

"Hey! My name is Jakobi Lundy, and I’ll be one of the incoming outdoor specialist for Adventure Crew!

So, what is a bit of my story? Well, as of writing this, I have just graduated out of CPS. A huge portion of my background is in media production, so how did I get here? Well, I got involved in Adventure Crew starting in 10th grade as a normal Saturday adventurer, where everyone starts out. I started to show interest in a staff position in 11th grade, and then 12th grade was no doubt the best year for me in Adventure Crew. I started memorizing names since I was usually with the same people; all the staff were really starting to push me to apply for outdoor specialist, so I kind of just, went for it, and the rest is history! Not a super duper exciting story, but regardless, I’m happy to be here to work for Adventure Crew.

I have not regretted coming back to Adventure Crew as staff, and I’m excited that everyone has given me the chance to to show what I can do, and how much I care about the wellbeing and safety of all the participants. My favorite adventure will always be the advanced destination to Colorado, ‘cause it was there that I grew exponentially as a person, and I found what I love to do most: protecting people."
