Gear Sale and donation day
Adventure Crew's Gear Sale and Donation Day returns to MadTree Brewing in Oakley on Saturday, January 24. We're happy to share that seller registration is now open! Round up the paddle craft, bikes, hiking equipment, outdoor apparel and other gently used adventure gear that's collecting dust in your garage or closet and sell it to someone who will put it to good use.
While there's no fee to participate, advance registrations are required and can be made by filling out our seller form. Please provide as much detail as you can about what you'll be selling -- it really helps us plan the space to make the event a great experience for both shoppers and sellers. Seller registration will close January 20 or when space is filled.
Adventure Crew will also be accepting gear donations for our teens or for resale. (Find a list of our most-needed items at this link!) If you'd like to donate items but can't make it to the sale, please email sam@adventurecrew.org to arrange for drop-off.
If you're interested in shopping rather than selling, mark your calendar and plan to find great deals on new-to-you items! It's a sustainable and affordable way to prepare for all the adventures ahead in the New Year. The event will run from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Outdoors for All Expo, 7/31
This Friday night gathering at Schmidt Recreation Complex has something for everyone! Check out 50+ exhibitors, including local parks, outdoor outfitters, adventure experts and environmentally minded organizations. With live music, food trucks, beer and activities, our Paddlefest pre-party is always a fun evening by the river. The Expo is free and open to the public!
Ohio River Paddlefest, 8/1
Regarded as nation’s largest paddling celebration, the Ohio River Paddlefest is the hallmark community event of Adventure Crew. Join us the first weekend in August for our Outdoors for All Expo on Friday night, followed by the Saturday morning paddle on the Ohio.
Bill Keating, Jr. Great Ohio River Swim, 8/30
Take the plunge! Join Adventure Crew for a swim across the river and back. The Bill Keating, Jr. Great Ohio River Swim is a 900 meter swim from The Serpentine Wall in downtown Cincinnati, towards the Kentucky shoreline and back. Fund raised through registrations help support Adventure Crew’s Spring Break Swim Training Program.
