Adventure Crew's Raising Access & Diversity (RAD) Collective is a community of women dedicated to expanding equitable opportunities in nature for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky city teens. This giving circle is comprised of women from all walks, hikes, paddles, and climbs of life who share a commitment to Adventure Crew’s ethos of Outdoors for All.

INVESTing IN ADVENTURE EQUITY

Membership in the RAD Women’s Collective expands Adventure Crew’s work to offer opportunities for youth in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky to experience the multitude of benefits nature offers, with a focus on equity and inclusion for historically and systemically marginalized communities, especially teen girls.

Member dues donations are made annually to maintain active status. There is no set dues amount, but members are encouraged to contribute at least $120/year, made as a one-time donation or through monthly recurring contributions.

Women can join RAD at any time, but dues must be paid by October 31 to be eligible to vote on the following year's investments. Members select an Adventure Crew initiative to support with their dues at the RAD Annual Meeting.

Member Musts

The only expectation of RAD members is an annual contribution to the giving circle’s fund. At our Annual Meeting & Social, active members hear from Adventure Crew staff about investment opportunities for the coming year. Members must be present to vote!

Beyond dues, members are welcome to volunteer with Crew programs or events and build community with fellow members. We use the GroupMe app to communicate giving circle updates. The app can also be used to arrange member meet-ups! You can expect a monthly email with RAD updates, too.

If you're ready to be RAD, follow these few steps to get started.

FIRST TIME MEMBERS
Complete your membership form so we can get to know you a little better. Then you can make your dues donation online.

RETURNING/INACTIVE MEMBERS
You likely already have an existing member profile, but you can resubmit if any of your details (name, address, email) have changed. You can reactive your membership by making a dues donation — it’s that easy!

Important dates on the RAD calendar

October 31 — Annual deadline to make your dues donation in order to vote on investments at the upcoming Annual Meeting

January 7 — Annual Meeting & Social 2027 at Cincinnati Observatory. RSVP required for active and prospective members
