Join us for Summits & Horizons, our signature fall event!

The beauty of a walk in deep woods, pausing to observe birds. Stories of challenge, perseverance and awe discovered in the remote wilderness. Coming together to celebrate how far we’ve come in our first decade and how together we will empower our city’s youth to lead the way in transforming natural spaces into places of inclusion and belonging.

This is Summits & Horizons, Adventure Crew’s signature fall event. Please join us on October 10 at the Mercantile Library to applaud the leadership of young people in the environmental movement. Our program will feature keynote speaker Isaiah Scott of @IkesBirdingHikes, a rising leader in ornithology and environmental justice and a student of environmental conservation at Cornell University. You’ll also hear from several Crew teens about how their experiences in nature are shaping their future paths, and we'll share highlights of our new strategic plan and what's ahead in the coming year for our next generation of young adventurers.

The evening kicks off at 5 p.m, with a social hour for guests to connect with others who share a passion for this work. The program is at 6 p.m., followed by a reception at 7 p.m. with food, drinks and more time to get to know each other, Isaiah and our Crew teens. Tickets start at just $25 and include a copy of "The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature." Corporate sponsorships starting at $500 are also available.

Summits & Horizons is also an extraordinary opportunity for us to get to know you better, whether you have been involved with Adventure Crew for years or are a first-timer coming to the event to learn about our work and its impact. Adventure Crew is unique in our region as a catalyst for life-changing experiences for city teens, and you are an essential part of the engine that drives our work forward. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you on October 10!
