Meet the Crew: Susan Esler, Steve Skibo, Derian Green, Donors

As the giving season gets underway, we wanted to highlight a few of the generous donors who help make our adventures possible. Individual gifts are so important to us: Some 30 percent of Adventure Crew's funding comes from donors like these — and you! Large or small, your gifts make a difference in the lives of city teens.

Why support the Crew? Here's what these donors had to say.

"Ben is a big 'outdoors' person (hiking, camping, snow boarding, etc.)," Susan said of the couple's son. "He was able to go to camp as young person, where he learned these skills and developed these passions. We have seen the positive impact being active and outside has made in his life. We think every child should have the same opportunity to experience it, too, and that is why we support Adventure Crew."
